In 1991, Scott became an insurance broker and began regular study of legal issues. Within a few years, the insurance broker role evolved into work as a commercial producer and programs manager with focus on the marketing of insurance products and risk management solutions for individual businesses as well as group plans targeting trade associations and professional organizations. Expertise in occupier liability, operations liability within contracting trades, directors & officers liability, among other liability insurances for various business risks evolved.
In 2009, Scott left the insurance industry to focus on a legal studies and entry into the practice of legal services. After graduating with Honours and as the highest ranking graduate, Scott opened a litigation firm.
In 2018, Scott left the litigation firm and began providing education and support services to legal practitioners. Scott now manages CPD.Legal, and provides support within many nodes of the Success.Legal ecosystem.
