About Sharada Narain
Sharada is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and is also certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). She worked for the Law Society of Ontario for over 17 years in positions that required her to assess compliance with the LSO's rules, by-laws, regulations, and legislation. Sharada holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto and has over 25 years of experience conducting audits in regulatory environments, including the Ontario Provincial Government.

OPA members are encouraged to call directly at (416) 540-3107 for up to 30 minutes of free consultation. Non-members may also call in, with a fee applied.

Sharada Narain: Compliance Expertise and Community Commitment
Within the LSO, Sharada worked as an auditor in the Spot Audit Department, assessing the books and records of lawyers and law firms. She also served as a forensic auditor in Trustee Services, providing analysis and guidance that led to remedial actions in accordance with governing legislation and regulations. She was entrusted with highly sensitive and high-profile cases, demonstrating confidentiality and integrity.
Sharada's fundamental beliefs—humility, honesty, spirituality, and respect—guide her both personally and professionally. She is deeply community-minded, aligning with her mantra of "doing good" and "giving back." Her volunteering activities include organizing book drives for rural libraries in Guyana and Vietnam, chairing United Way and Federated Health campaigns, and fundraising for local initiatives.
Sharada also values education highly, serving as Co-Chair of the Education Committee for the Toronto chapter of the Certified General Accountants (CGA) of Ontario for many years.
